- CHART
The Coordinated Highways Action Response Team, or CHART, is a joint effort of the Maryland Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT), and the Maryland State Police (MSP).
Managed by the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA), CHART is an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), which uses advanced technology and cooperation among agencies and jurisdictions to improve the flow of people and goods along thousands of miles of interstates and state highways.
CHART means enhanced safety, mobility, and efficiency on Maryland's highways.
