Summary of essential job functions
We are seeking a Program Manager to serve as the Primary Point of contact with our client and deliver program management expertise that meets and exceeds service expectations of our customers. This position, located in Orlando, Florida, requires experience managing in a fast paced, client focused environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; close interface with a public sector client, financial budgets, P&L statements, operations and contract oversight responsibilities for office of 100+ employees across multiple departments and revenue potential of $3.2 million per year.
Primary Responsibilities: Individuals in this position will perform the following activities
- Serve as ACS\' primary point of contact with the client, providing technical expertise and industry knowledge on the advancements occurring in the Electronic Toll industry as well as management of service center operations.
- Ensure regular communications with the client through reports and meetings that provide updates on program delivery and program operations. In so doing, highlight issues that may impact performance and create recommendations for resolution.
- Oversee Long-term operations of the program through program management staff. Develop staff to provide oversight of the operations, collections, reconciliation and violations processing centers
- Manage P&L for the contract, and provide required financial status reporting within the company. In so doing, look for opportunities to improve performance within the constructs of the contract agreement.
- Participate with the client in exploring future business opportunities and assist with developing proposals for such opportunities.
- 5-10+ years of progressively responsible project management experience in the transportation systems market. Demonstrated professional skills and commitment as well as the ability to initiate, maintain, and sustain successful relationships with clients, to establish client rapport and to persuasively present and represent ACS\'s business capabilities.
- Experience with budget and/or P&L management responsibilities of similar size programs.
- Experience in program and project management, coordination of services subcontractors\' activities to meet scope, schedule, and budget
- Excellent coaching, counseling and facilitation skills
- Ability to make operational decisions in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Proven experience in leadership, motivation, team building, and employee involvement
- Broad knowledge of customer service principles and techniques
- Ability to remain calm and exercise tact and diplomacy in researching and resolving customer complaints and in dealing with employees
- Ability to work independently with only general management direction
- Demonstrated strong organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal communications skills along with proven negotiations and client relationships skills.
- Commitment to quality and personal ethics
- Working Knowledge of Excel (intermediate user), Word, and PowerPoint
A Bachelors degree is preferred or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree with strong organizational skills including the ability to plan, direct, organize, prioritize, and control business operations.
Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to sound, ethical, moral and legal business standards and practices. Adaptability to changing requirements dictated by industry and the ACS team environment. Must be excellent at multi-tasking and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Project Management Certification a plus.
Working Conditions:
This position will be based in Orlando, Florida. Limited domestic travel may be required of this position. Manage in a heavy workload and highly competitive area involving information of business-sensitive and/or confidential nature.
